This gathering is a co-created event. Through our full participation and service to our community, we will have the opportunity to share and develop our wisdom as warriors, healers, visionaries and teachers. We will all have the chance to offer our gifts to others. Although, there will always be opportunities to fully participate and support the gathering. We have committed seva functions, which are opened to participants who want to contribute their time to the success of the week-end ( and get a $50 discount ). Every participant who is offering seva will be give three hours of their time through the week-end. You can choose between cleaning, cooking, helping with registration, or with other practical aspects of the organization. To apply for one of these positions, let us know your interest and gifts or motivation and we will offer you what seems to match your desire with what the gathering needs. Every one of our intentions and actions will support each other and create a deep and powerful healing vortex, nourishing and fulfilling.
We will provide delicious organic Vegetarian meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. The meals are prepared with much care and love so as to nourish us through the unfolding journey of the weekend. We will use the highest quality of ingredients that are available to us. Special diets are taken care of as much as we can. Servers are needed for the preparation and the clean-up. The whole week-end is about sharing, and co-creating through active participation. Please let us know ahead of time about your allergies, intolerance or present dietarian inclination so we can best accommodate.
Chef Sadhana is with us once again this time and we are so blessed. She is a whole foods chef focusing on raw, vegetarian and vegan cuisine. She has been cooking her way through Northern America the last 11 years. She spent a number of years in Canada working hand in hand with two talented live foods chefs and then returned back to the Mendocino area where she has been working as the Creative Director of The Ravens' Restaurant at The Stanford Inn for the last two years. Her life Philosophy is interwoven with her food philosophy. As her service to the Mother Earth, she provides nourishment and healing through her food. She uses her talents and alchemy to provide a feast for anyone’s taste buds, while, at the same time enticing you with her artisan dishes. It is a gift and and honor to welcome her back to the Bhakti Family.
We have had many people share with us their journey and how delighted there were to be part of such a heartfelt community gathering. Not all could be transcribed, but here's a few for you to indulge.
