Time is coming to gather again for the Bhakti Gathering at Harbin Hot Springs from April 5th to 7th 2012. Our two last Bhakti Gathering have been empowering, supporting, uplifting each participant’s Heart and Spirit.
For the new comers: The Bhakti Gathering is a not-for-profit, participation based, community event. The main goal is to open our hearts wider than ever through devotion, service and community. This weekend will be what we create. If you love to offer bodywork or healing touch, to lead kirtan, to guide yoga or meditation practice, this is an opportunity to let go of any shyness and offer yourself fully in service to the community. May we all feel clearer, more nourished, stronger, more loved and more loving, more supported and more supportive, more connected, more committed, more creative, filled with more Joy and Faith.
Online registration is necessary to attend the Gathering.Across cultures, there are four universal healing salves: singing, dancing, storytelling and silence. Native cultures transmit their values, ethics and spiritual beliefs through the oral traditions of stories, songs, dances and silent rituals and prayer. It has long been recognized that these healing salves reawaken and sustain the divine child within human beings and return to individuals the qualities of wonder, hope and awe. It is how we pay attention to our life story that allows us to experience the human resource of love, the most powerful healing force on Mother Earth.
This year, every serving participant will get an immediate karmic reward of $60 discount at the time of their registration!!!
The gathering is a co-created event. Through our full participation and service to our community, we will have the opportunity to share and develop our wisdom as warriors, healers, visionaries and teachers. We will all have the chance to offer our gifts to others. Although, there will always be opportunities to fully participate and support the gathering. 30 committed seva functions are opened to participants who want to contribute their time to the success of the week-end ( and get a $60 discount ). Each seva will be of three hours through the week-end. You can choose between cleaning, cooking, helping with registration, or with other practical aspects of the organization. To apply for one of this position, let us know your interest and gifts or motivation and we will offer you what seems to match your desire and the gathering needs. Every one of our intentions and actions will support each other and create a deep and powerful healing vortex, nourishing and clearing for ourselves and for all.
Vegetarian meals will be provided from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch. Ingredients are organic as much as possible. Special diets are taken care of as much as we can. Servers are needed for the preparation and the clean-up. The whole week-end is about sharing, and co-creating through active participation. Let us know ahead of time about your allergies, intolerance or present dietarian inclination.
Chef Sadhana is a whole foods chef focusing on raw, vegetarian and vegan cuisine. She has been cooking her way through Northern America the last 10 years.
